The Maharajas' Express | The Luxury Train of India

The Maharajas' Express is owned and operated by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation and is the most expensive luxury train in the world. It runs on 5 circuits covering more than 12 destinations across North-West and Central India, mainly centred around Rajasthan between the months of October to April. The Maharajas' Express was voted "The World's Leading Luxury Train" twice, in a row at The World Travel Awards, 2012 & 2013. It is the most expensive luxury train in Asia. It was named to the 2011 list of World's Top 25 Trains by The Society of International Railway Travelers and was praised for its on-board accommodation and dining facilities, service, and off-train excursion program after its review in the Autumn of 2010. Maharajas' Express also bagged first runner up award in the Specialist Train Operators Category at Conde Nast Travelers Reader Choice Travel Award in 2011.

The largest Solar Furnace, France

The largest Solar Furnace is at Odeillo in the Pyrénées-Orientales in France, opened in 1970. It employs an array of plane mirrors to gather sunlight, reflecting it onto a larger curved mirror. Solar  furnace  consists of 10000 concave mirrors that reflect and focus the sun's rays on the square diagonal of 40 inches. Diameter mirror construction is 54 meters. An array of mirrors acts as a parabolic reflector, concentrating light into focus. Temperature is in focus, as if in this place at the same time sent 22,000 suns. It can reach 3500 ° C (all depends on the position of the mirrors). Solar furnace used for industrial purposes. With its help generate electricity, melt steel, creating hydrogen fuel and nano-materials.

The ancient Greek / Latin term heliocaminus literally means "solar furnace" and refers to a glass-enclosed sunroom intentionally designed to become hotter than the outside air temperature. During the Second Punic War (218 - 202 BC), the Greek scientist Archimedes is said to have repelled the attacking Roman ships by setting them on fire with a "burning glass" that may have been an array of mirrors. An experiment to test this theory was carried out by a group at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005. It concluded that although the theory was sound for stationary objects, the mirrors would not likely have been able to concentrate sufficient solar energy to set a ship on fire under battle conditions. The first modern solar furnace is believed to have been built in France in 1949 by Professor Félix Trombe. It is now still in place at Mont Louis, near Odeillo. The Pyrenees were chosen as the site because the area experiences clear skies up to 300 days a year. Another solar furnace was built in Uzbekistan as a part of a Soviet Union "Sun" Complex Research Facility impulsed by Academician S.A. Asimov.

Extreme swings — Giant Canyon Swing, located at an amusement park in Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the swing is situated on the edge of the canyon at an altitude of 396 meters above the Colorado River - Glenwood Springs is a small town in Colorado, which is famous for its wide variety of attractions for the whole family. The 2011 edition "USA Today" said "the most fun city in America," This metal beast set on a hillside cliff, about 400 meters above the Colorado River. Whispering Wall — Barossa Reservoir

Whispering Wall — Barossa Reservoir is a reservoir in South Australia, built between 1899 and 1902 to supply water to Gawler and other northern country areas. At the time of its completion, the reservoir was hailed as an engineering marvel, and at a total of 36 metres, was the highest in Australia. The thin arch of the dam retaining wall, curved against the pressure of the water, was an innovation considered radical, and attracted the Reservoir international attention. It was featured in the Scientific American and caused the American Engineers News to remark that its "boldness of design deserves to rank with the most famous dams in the world". Nowadays, the dam is notable for its parabola effect, where a voice can be heard clearly from one side to the other — over 140 metres, end to end. This unusual acoustic phenomenon is a popular tourist attraction, and has earned the dam the title "Whispering Wall"

Train in the Streets of Hanoi, Vietnam

Hanoi — Vietnam is the railroad tracks that run through the narrow pedestrian street in a residential area . Yes, it so happened that the main railway station is located in the city center. Path to the Long Bien bridge passes through the Old Quarter - a densely populated residential area, it’s no surprise that the train tracks pass by busy streets. The houses here are so close to the tracks that people could easily get smacked if they don’t watch their step, or decide to stick their hands out the window at the wrong time. Luckily, the trains go by only twice a day, It happens every day around 4 pm and 7 pm. Hanoi isn’t the only place in the world where trains pass right by people’s front doors. The Maeklong Railway Food Market, in Thailand, is famous for having food stalls built right on the edge of a transited train track.
